The following insurance plans are accepted:
A lactation consultation consists of a health history, assessment of the baby’s suck, and observation of breastfeeding. I evaluate the amount of milk the baby gets in a feeding by doing a weight check before and after breastfeeding. I will answer your questions and provide tools and tips to help you meet your breastfeeding goals. Initial consultations take about 60-90 minutes. Follow up consultations are usually 45-60 minutes.
At times, virtual visits can be a good option for ongoing lactation care and/or support. Most virtual visits will take 30-45 minutes.
Prenatal lactation consultations are also available for parents seeking breastfeeding education prior to baby's arrival. This education is individualized based on your learning needs.
I have been fully vaccinated and receive all flu and Covid 19 boosters when available.
If your insurance plan is not accepted you may choose to pay out of pocket for your care.
Initial visits are $225
Follow-up visits are $200
Telehealth visits are $150
Payment is due at the beginning of your appointment. I will provide you with a "Superbill" which may be submitted to your health insurance provider for reimbursement. It is advisable to check with your insurance company to see what is covered. I cannot guarantee that you will be reimbursed by your health insurer.
